Francie Silverman

The moment I knew that food was medicine was about 10 years ago when I dramatically changed my diet to attempt a life free of migraines. And it worked! Almost immediately. I thought, “Wow. I need to learn how to help others feel as amazing as I do. And I want to learn more!” Thus began my career in the nutrition field.

I am a certified lifestyle educator and have been a wellness coach since 2005 in New York City and Columbus. I earned a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. I am certified through Metagenics in First-Line Therapy, a plan designed for those with concerns about obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and other conditions related to aging, inflammation or degeneration. Lifestyle choices play an important role in these common issues and many others.

Hi Francie! I’m out of Metagest. Do you still want me taking it? I’m also running low on the Adrenall. Should I get more and continue the same dosage?

    Hi Tracy!
Patty here…Francie is on vacation this week, so I looked at your file and it DOES appear she’d like you to continue the Metagest. The AdrenAll, we usually let the patient determine based on how they feel when they don’t take it. Some patients will wean off the lunch dose, then if no return of fatigue, will wean off the breakfast dose. Most people go through 1-3 bottles while they adjust lifestyle/diet and other factors that cause or contribute to adrenal fatigue. Feel free to call the office if you need further clarification! -Patty

    Hi Francie,
How many bottles of the Candibactrum should I order and for how long do you want me on this treatment?
Do I need to refrigerate the stool test until I am ready to collect?
What are you looking for specifically on this stool test that will affect the plan of care? For example, if H.Phylori then is the treatment different or stronger than for SIBO? What are the added benefits to running the test for my specific situation? My husband says “my poop is getting to be expensive”… lol.
Thank you SO MUCH for your time today. I knew that I should have followed you to Leaves of Life a lot sooner!!!
