Mold Testing
What lab tests do you use to measure the level of mold in my body?
-
In Ohio, mold growth in our homes is becoming more common as precipitation in our area increases. Many people are able to detoxify mold they’re exposed to, but about 1 in 4 people have a genetically induced predisposition to become ill if exposed to mold toxins. This test is a urine catch that can identify a high body burden of mold toxins.
Mold can cause allergic symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, itching, coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing, headache, and fatigue. Repeated or prolonged exposure to mold can also increase sensitivity to other antigens, leading to more severe allergic reactions over time.

If elevated mold toxins are detected, the first step is to determine the source, which is often the patient’s home. We highly respect this group, which was founded by a family that once dealt with their own mold issues, and wanted to provide an honest assessment and remediation process for others experiencing the same issues.
