Meet Carol, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, BioMeridian/MSA Technician
Carol Starr, CMA, BS in Psychology, is currently working towards a Masters in Clinical Mental Health. She is also a Certified Meridian Stress Assessment Specialist and an AO Scan Technician.
For the last 30 years, Carol has worked closely with a local integrative medical doctor who specializes in treating complex, chronically ill patients suffering from Lyme, Epstein-Barr, metabolic and neurological diseases, autoimmunity, mold toxicity and other conditions that are often difficult to identify and treat. This has given her a wealth of wisdom and insight into finding answers about the underlying health conditions that create the symptoms patients experience.
At Leaves of Life, Carol combines Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) / BioMeridian scanning with the latest in digital body analysis: AO Scanning, an efficient and accurate way to pinpoint underlying imbalances that lead to physical symptoms.

Her specialties include using the AO Scan and the Meridian Stress Assessment (MSA) to find underlying health conditions, and then treating them with homeopathic formulas & supplements.

Carol’s Story:
“Growing up in West Virginia, I have fond memories of walking in the woods with my mother and grandmother foraging for ginseng, black cohosh and other healing herbs and foods. This connection to nature’s remedies has helped shape my natural healthcare practice. I believe in the more alternative and holistic approaches to healthcare. When you take an herb, you’re enhancing the body’s ability to take care of itself. You’re getting the plant’s entire system of hundreds or even thousands of phytochemicals, which work synergistically to fight off microbes, support the immune system, balance hormones, and reestablish cellular integrity. All these processes are what lead to true wellness. Alternatively, overuse of antibiotics can lead to drug resistance and superinfection. Some germs that were once responsive to antibiotics have become more resistant, which can lead to more serious infections. I look forward to helping others better understand the close interaction between our physical and emotional imbalances.” ~Carol
